  中心简介:异构智能计算体系结构与系统研究中心:致力于研究异构体系结构如CPU、GPU、NPU、FPGA等,VLSI超大规模集成电路设计与流片,面向体系结构探索的EDA工具,异构系统软件如服务器操作系统、云操作系统、大数据处理引擎等。为人工智能应用、大数据应用、云计算服务、物联网通讯技术以及边缘计算提供高性能、低能耗及安全可靠的底层支撑,并推动相关研究领域研究的产业化。

  中心现有员工和学生51名,其中研究员1名,副研究员3名,助理研究员2名,博士生3名,喻之斌研究员为中心主任。异构智能计算中心承担了国家重点研发计划“软件定义云计算”课题、中科院先导专项“海云数据系统关键技术研究与系统研制”、广东省重点领域研发计划“可敏捷定制的智能视觉处理器及系统应用”及广东省重大科技专项“基于云计算的国际大宗商品交易系统研究”等10余项重大项目的研究。在计算机的多个方向已经取得了世界领先的研究成果,在计算机系统结构领域的顶级国际会议如ISCA、ASPLOS、MICRO、HPCA、ICS、PACT、HiPEAC和顶级期刊IEEE TPDS、IEEE TC、IEEE TCAD和IEEE TACO上发表论文80余篇,并申请了60余项国家发明专利。

  英文简介(Introduction in English):Center of Heterogeneous Intelligent Computer Architecture and Systems (HICAS) focuses on the research and development of state-of-the-art heterogeneous computing architectures (CPU, GPU, NPU and FPGA), VLSI design and prototyping, architecture-level EDA tools for design space exploration, and OS/cloud-level system software. HICAS aims to provide high performance, low silicon cost and energy consumption, reliability and security supports for applications such as artificial intelligence, big data, cloud computing, internet of things. The center is heavily funded by industry partners through technology transfer.

  The center currently has a total of 51 staff and students, including 1 researcher, 3 associate researchers, 2 assistant researchers, and 3 Ph.D. students. Researcher Yu Zhi-Bin serves as the director of the center, and Wang Zheng is the deputy director.HICAS has won 10 national key research projects such as software defined cloud computing , Haiyun big data systems , Agile customizable Intelligent vision processors and system applications. HICAS has published papers on top conferences suchs ISCA, MICRO, ASPLOS, HPCA, and top journals such as IEEE TC, IEEE TPDS, IEEE TCAD, and ACM TACO. Meanwile HICAS has applied for more than 60 national invention patents.
